Open your wings Women, as it's time to fly

O womaniyaa!! Now it’s the time to open your wings and enjoy soaring to great heights. Gone are the days when woman were considered as a sex object and a machine to give birth to babies. Now the time has changed, stop wasting your life and bring out your ideas. Understand that you have the power and you can change the world. Do not supress your desires and let the world feel that you are important.

This year it’s the time to outshine and stand equal to your partner and prove your worth. Ab bus aur nahi!! Let the world know that you have the calibre of proving your worth and YES!! You can do it. It is all about women empowerment. The world has changed and the mindset has changed.

To celebrate women’s day with full zeal and enthusiasm, Bindura foundation is here to offer you with scholarships to follow your passion and prove your worth.

It is the year 2021, and women all over the world need a peaceful climate, fair justice, and opportunities. It’s almost amazing to see how people’s attitudes about women are changing, with more people appreciating their efforts all over the planet. Each March 8, International Women’s Day is commemorated to honor women’s achievements and contributions to artistic, political, social, and economic advancement. It is also recognized for raising public awareness about women’s rights and gender equality.

What is it all about?

Bindura Foundation provides scholarships to women from low-income families and women who are working to improve their financial situation. Our co-partners, advertisers, and supporters are all supporting this noble cause in order to provide the necessary assistance and inspire deserving women.

We accept submissions, and then we fund eligible woman candidates after a rigorous process based on our pre-determined requirements. Our job counselor met with these women to assess their interest in a variety of technical courses that will help them raise money either by starting their own business or working part-time from home, such as cooking, fashion design, tailoring, computer courses, English speaking, and personality development. We not only provide them with training, but also assist them in obtaining a job from which they can begin earning money on a monthly basis.

We will help with:

Counseling each applicant after reviewing their application; identifying and recommending the best course from the partnered institution; and sponsoring the course that the candidate ultimately chooses.

We do not believe in assisting them with monthly contributions, but rather in empowering them through our initiative #NAYIPEHCHAAN.

The scholarship is intended to help women progress their careers in some way, whether it’s by an allowance for an internship or starting a job in their desired profession, payment for a professional educational program, vocational classes, or other means.

Your submission will be assessed based on one or more of the following criteria:

  1. A sense of being up against the odds – this can be economical, social, or physical challenges, or something else that has put roadblocks in your way.
  2. A sense of accomplishment – you must have excelled in your desired profession, whether it be academics, athletics, music, or the arts.
  3. A statement of intent – what you want to do for the scholarship money.
  4. A need component – assuming all other factors are equal, the scholarship will be given to someone who is in greater financial need.

There are three stages to the application process:

  1. Application Submission – You can submit your application electronically or by mailing it to our office address, properly signed.
  2. Interview – A short-list for a telephonic interview will be announced, and chosen candidates will be contacted for personal interviews with the necessary documentation. Before the interview, you would be required to have all relevant documentation and proofs.
  3. Referee check – After the interview, the referee (as listed on the application) will be called for review, and the final winner will be chosen and declared.

If you are a student, you can provide the contact information for the dean/principal/director, head of the department, or professor of your college; if you are a professional, you can provide the contact information for the head of the company (CEO, team lead, boss, etc.). Your friend, neighbor, or relative will even serve as a judge whether you want to return to work or resume a job later in life due to family obligations.

Wherever practicable, the funds will be transferred directly to the cause at the time of need by the referee listed on the application.

You can submit your application before 30th of every month.

The results will be released on the 30th of the next month.

The shortlist does not have a minimum or maximum length. From the applications obtained during the month, we will shortlist as many eligible applicants as possible.

Before the interview, the shortlisted applicants would be asked to have all relevant documentation and proofs. The referee will be called after the interview for clarification.
