The launch of two new acts for
empowering the women
In India, two acts have been passed to emancipate women. Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act of 2005 and Compulsory Marriage Registration Act of 2006. The Domestic Violence Act acknowledges both physical and emotional trauma.
Recognizing that women account for half of the generational dividend and deserve all respect, dignity, and security of their rights, the Bindura Foundation works to provide options for gainful jobs for women so that society as a whole can advance.
